A purported slip of the lingo from Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, addressing his deputy Tejashwi Prasad Yadav as “ mukhyamantri ” at an occurrence also, became the source of taunts and counters among BJP and ruling abettors JD (U) and RJD on Tuesday. The BJP took a dig at the Chief Minister, saying it’s time for Nitish to “ attend house ”. The abettors used the “slip-up” to point out their growing bond.
Introducing other leaders on the stand at a Beast Husbandry and Fisheries Department event to hand over appointment letters to those named as veterinary and quarter fisheries officers, Nitish called his deputy “ manzanita mukhyamantri(honorable chief minister) Tejashwi Prasad Yadav ”. Nitish didn’t correct his “ slip of lingo ” and went ahead with the speech.
Not letting the slip-up occasion slip, BJP prophet Nikhil Anand said, “ It appears Nitish Kumar has deliberately or subconsciously accepted Tejashwi as CM. It is time for Nitish Kumar to travel to( an) house. ”
The BJP’s “ house ” accord came from a comment by senior RJD leader Shivanand Tiwari last week — that 70- plus age is an “ age of visiting house ”, seen as an oblique relation to Nitish.
Tiwari, still, said “ it’s going to be a mistake of lingo( but) we take it as a blessing of Nitish Kumar for bastard Tejashwi Yadav, who is definitely a future leader of Bihar. ”
Dismissing addresses around the incident, a JD( U) leader said “ Nothing should be read into a flash of slip of lingo. Indeed Atal Behari Vajpayee, also PM, had addressed Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru as the Prime Minister during a speech. Let BJP envy our bond with RJD. ”
This “ bond ” may be a commodity multitudinous in political circles are pointing toward in Grand Alliance’s alternate innings. Soon after forming the government in August, Nitish had reportedly asked senior functionaries to give as important significance to the Deputy CM as they offer the CM. The fellowship between the “ uncle and bastard ” in Bihar politics has been further than apparent now, with Nitish accompanying Tejashwi to utmost major events. While opening a brand-new structure at a sanitorium at Koelwar within the Bhojpur quarter on Citizenship Day, Nitish and Tejashwi had cut separate lists together. This might well are done to allow “ equivalency ” to the leader of RJD, the senior mate within the ruling alliance, but it had been a commodity that had no way happened with Nitish’s erstwhile deputies from the BJP — Sushil Kumar Modi, Tarkishore Prasad, or Renu Devi.
On September 9, while inaugurating the pitripaksh Mela in Gaya, former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said that point isn’t far down when “ Nitish would lead the country and Tejashwi would lead Bihar ”. In reply, Tejashwi said the state is doing well under Nitish Kumar, which he has been happy on his part because the CM’s deputy — again a situation not exactly from the playbook of Grand Alliance- 1 when the immature RJD leader was seen as posturing for an even bigger part.
Indeed during informal exchanges with other leaders, Nitish Kumar has constantly pertained to Tejashwi because of the future leader of Bihar.
The slip of lingo and political preludes are incremental, the RJD sees it as only a matter of time before Tejashwi Yadav takes over the arm of Bihar. Lalu Prasad’s party is simply staying for Nitish to become more active publicly in politics. The sole indisputable fact that worries the RJD is the pending IRCTC and jobs- for land cases against Tejashwi.
