51 projects in Noida related to IT and ITES:
With the state gearing up for the third ground breaking ceremony, the Noida Authority has sent a list of 51 projects, mainly related to IT and ITES (IT – enabled services) with a projection of Rs.8500 crore investment and 50,000 direct job opportunities to the government.
The event is scheduled to be held in Lucknow, which will have MoU’s signed between directors of big companies and the government. Officials said some 2000 odd projects with a proposed investment of Rs.75000 crore across UP will be inaugurated during the ceremony.Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will perform ‘bhoomi pujan’ of the projects.

Investments worth Rs. 15000 crores to be made in Noida:
Third ground breaking ceremony is to be held on 3rd June in Lucknow. According to the state governments directive, only those projects could be included in the ceremony that have not been inaugurated or founded till now. In the past few months, 57 plots in Noida have been alloted to companies promising investments of over Rs.15000 crore in total.
” We have sent theist of 51 projects to the government, which will take a final call on them and send us the final list in a couple of days”, a senior Noida Authority official said”. Names of big companies like Adani (investment of Rs.2500 crore), Microsoft ( Rs. 1000 crore ), PayTm (Rs.300 crore), among others are part of the list.
From Greater Noida, a list of 43 projects with Rs.2500 crore projected investment has been sent to the government. The Yamuna Expressway Authority has presented projects worth Rs.9809 crore, including Noida Apparel Park and Medical Device Park for the ceremony.
The first two groundbreaking ceremonies
were held in 2018 and 2019, announcing proposed investments of Rs.67000 crore, respectively.During the second groundbreaking ceremony held in 2019, investment MoU’s of about Rs.10,000 crore were inked for Noida alone.
Earlier the Noida Authority approved a budget of Rs.4880 crore to be spent in the financial year 2022 – 2024 on different developmental works and Rs.4579 crores in expenditure for developmental works.

Conclusion:
The economy of the state is improving rapidly. New schemes worth Rs.39,18.10 crores have been proposed in the budget.
