Nykaa Founder Falguni Nayar is now the richest woman in India. The businessman who has a net worth of 38,700 crores is ranked number 33 on the list of the top 100 billionaires. She is now the richest self-made Indian woman on the list, surpassing Biocon founder Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw.

The wealthiest people in India are ranked for the eleventh consecutive year. As of August 30th, 2022, the wealth projections are up to date. At 19, the youngest person on the list is four years younger than the youngest person from the previous year.
In the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2022, Zepto’s Aadit Palicha and Kaivalya Vohra made their debut. The Hurun India Future Unicorn Index 2022’s youngest start-up founders are Kaivalya Vohra, 19, and his partner, Aadit Palicha, 20. The two felt an urgent need for speedy and contactless delivery of necessities while being quarantined in their Mumbai residences after dropping out of Stanford.
Vohra is listed as having a net worth of Rs 1 billion. Together with his buddy Aadit Palicha, who has a net worth of more than Rs 1,200, Vohra launched Zepto.
Jayashree Ullal, who was born in London and reared in India, is the wealthiest professional with an estimated net worth of Rs 16,600 crore. She is the CEO of Arista Networks, US. Meanwhile, the youngest self-made woman entrepreneur on the list is 37-year-old Neha Narkhede, co-founder of the streaming data technology company Confluent.
Ratan TATA, 84, is the most followed businessperson from the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2022 on Indian social media, with 118 lakh followers on Twitter. Anand Mahindra is in second place with 9.7 million followers.
