New Delhi:- On Tuesday over formation of government in four states, including Uttar Pradesh, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi holding a meeting with the party’s top brass at his residence, hectic parleys were underway in the Bjp.
Those people who attended the meeting were BJP President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. In the meeting that lasted more than three hours, Party General Secretary (organization) BL Santhosh and Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Pralhad Joshi were also present.
A similar meeting has been chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday. With caretaker Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and his Manipur counterpart N Biren Singh, Nadda and Santhosh also held separate meetings. Dhami later met Amit Shah in Parliament House, where he was accompanied by party MP Anil Baluni.
Grappling with the question of whether Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya could be accomodated in the Yogi Adityanath Government which is likely to be sworn-in after Holi that will be celebrated on March 18, the question arises what exactly transpired at these meetings was not immidiately known.
Further, in the national capital on Wednesday, Yogi Adityanath, UP BJP President Swatantra Singh Dev and State Party General Secretary (Organiztion) Sunil Bansal are arriving to carry forward the talks of government formation in Uttar Pradesh and more importantly the BJP is still undecided about whether there will be a post of deputy chief minister in Uttar Pradesh and if Keshav Prasad Maurya can be reinstated in his old position despite the loss.
