AS Roma are all set to sign former Juventus player Paulo Dybala as a free agent. According to the great Fabrizio Romano, everything has been agreed between the clubs. Even, the club based in the capital of Italy has met the demands of the Copa America winner.
Paulo Dybala’s contract with Juventus got over at the end of the 2021-22 footballing season. Dybala has been rumored to join several clubs since being a free agent. Both the Milan clubs AC Milan and Inter Milan were keen to acquire the signature of the Argentine winger. As well as the two clubs from England Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspurs were also part of this competition.
But in the end, AS Roma won the race as they managed to acquire him on a three-year contract with the club. Now, Italian giants, Roma can acquire the services of Argentine creator till the end of the 2025 season.
The club head coach Jose Mourinho played a crucial role in persuading this player. According to various reports, the club head coach was so keen to have him that he called the player multiple times to explain the final project of the club. The reported salary of the Argentine footballer seems to be six million euros per season with add-ons.
Paulo Dybala joined Italian giants Juventus in 2015. Since then, he has been a crucial part of the Juventus attack. He played for Serie A champions for seven years where he made a total of 293 appearances for the club scoring 115 goals and assisting 48 goals.
He has won five Serie A, four Italian Cups, and three Italian super cups in seven years playing for the Italian club Juventus. Last season he has 15 goal contributions in 29 league games. He was also part of the Copa America-winning Argentina national team last season. In Copa America, he has a goal and an assist in four games.
During his tenure at Juventus, Dybala has shared the dressing room with many stalwarts such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Gonzalo Higuain, Andrea Pirlo, Chellini, Bonnuci, and the great Gigi Buffon.
