PM Modi blamed previous governments for a high number of Indian students moving abroad to seek medical school on Thursday, claiming that his administration is striving to increase the number of medical colleges in the nation so that students can enrol there.
PM Modi empathized with students and their families who have expressed their anger, even at him, after experiencing challenges in Ukraine during an encounter with students who had returned from the war-torn country as part of the government’s “Operation Ganga” large-scale evacuation exercise.
“I think it is natural for them to feel angry in this crisis,” he said, adding that they have been facing hardships and braving cold.
Many kids expressed their gratitude to him and hailed his administration for rescuing them when they had lost all hope, he said, adding that when they are no longer agitated and begin to realise the enormity of the exercise, they will demonstrate their admiration as well.Â
PM Modi stated that a strong India is an answer to these problems, offering his condolences to the students who, he continued, had to go through such a traumatic experience at such a young age.
