Prime Minister Narendra Modi have left for Bali to participate in the 17th G20 Summit. The Indian Prime Minister will formally take over India’s G20 Chairmanship for the year 2024. He is likely to attend seminars on Food and Energy security and Digital Transformation and Health.

The Prime Minister’s office on Monday stated that Prime Minister will hold extensive discussions on major Global concern issues like the Revival of Global Growth, health and digital transformation, Environment as well as food energy and security. The Statement also added that PM Modi will be holding several bilateral meetings with fellow leaders of G20 to talk regarding India’s Bilateral relations with them. He is also likely to address the Indian Community in Bali on 15th November, 2022.
Prime Minister Modi, “During my interactions at the G20 Summit, I will highlight India’s achievements and our unwavering commitment to collectively address global challenges. India’s G20 Presidency will be grounded in the theme “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” or “One Earth One Family One Future”, which underlines the message of equitable growth and shared future for all.”

The 17th Global Summit in Bali will also hold the presence of other supreme leaders such as President of the USA Joe Biden, President of France Emmannuel Macron and the newly elected Prime Minister of Britain Rishi Sunak among many others.
India to Preside over the G20 Summit in 2024 meeting
India will take over the Presidency of G20 starting from 1st December for a brief period of one year. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be taking the charge from the Indonesian President Joko Widodo in the closing ceremony of this year’s G20 Summit in Bali. PM Modi has also launched an official website and the logo for India’s Presidency of the G20 Summit. According to an official statement, the official logo showcases us the vibrant colors of the Indian National flag along with the planet Earth and a Lotus flower, which is the National flower of India. The logo also features the theme “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” or “One Earth One Family One Future”. The logo is said to have drwan from an ancient Sanskrit text of Maha Upanishad.
The 18th G20 Leaders Summit will be held in New Delhi in the Month of September. India is said to hold over 200 meetings across the country related to the 17th G20 summit. India’s Presidency will commence from 1st December, 2022 and will continue till 30th November, 2024. The next country to hold the presidency after India is South Africa.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s three day visit to Bali plays an important role in strengthening geopolitical ties with G20 leader countries of the world. This year’s G20 Summit is indeed a special one as India is set to take the charge of Presidency of the G20 Summit to be held next year. The G20 group represents to around 85 percent of the total Global GDP and two third of the world’s population.

The prime minister arrived in Indonesia monday night. Modi also met the world most powerful leaders in Indonesia on the sideline of the G20 summit, where he held a bilateral talks. He also met the US president Joe Biden to discuss bilateral corporation.
