On Saturday, the PM Modi arrived in AtkotGujarat, where he opened a multi-specialty hospital. Atkot is around 50 kilometres from Rajkot. After that, he spoke at a public rally. Later in the day, he will speak to a group of leaders from various cooperative institutions and will also launch a urea plant.
See the highlights:
- Modi visits Rajkot to open the Matushri KDP Multispecialty Hospital. He stated that it would play a significant role in fulfilling healthcare demands.
- The KDP Hospital in Rajkot was inaugurated by Modi. According to insiders, the hospital will operate as a charitable organization, and medical services will be provided at a low cost.
- “Gujarat has made me what I am today,” Prime Minister Modi stated during a rally in Rajkot. I appreciate what you’ve taught me.
- In eight years, we made honest efforts to build India on the dreams of Bapu and Sardar Patel. Bapu wanted an India that would empower the poor, Dalit, victims, tribals, and women; where hygiene and health become a way of life; whose economic system has indigenous solutions: PM in Atkot, Gujarat.
- During a mega rally in Rajkot, PM Modi stated, “We have served the nation in times of COVID and war.”
- “Our efforts will improve the lives of the poor and middle classes.”
- In his speech, Modi made a dig at the UPA government, saying, “When I was Gujarat’s chief minister, the UPA didn’t clear files and didn’t sanction projects for the state.” They blame me for refusing to let the Gujarat files through.
- He also inaugurated the Nano Urea (Liquid) Plant constructed at IFFCO, Kalol.Â
- There were just nine medical colleges and 1,100 places available previously. Today, you’ll be relieved to know that there are a total of 30 private and public medical colleges.
He said, “Even parents who are financially strapped want their children to become doctors.” However, when you applied, the first question they asked was if you knew English. This is a form of injustice. We altered the criteria so that students with a Gujarati education can now complete engineering and medical programs.
