On Saturday, two major tragedies took place that claimed the lives of nearly 14 people. One was a street mishap on the Yamuna Expressway close to Mathura in Uttar Pradesh, and the other was a building fire in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore.Â
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and expressed his grief.Â
“The road accident in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh is heart-wrenching. My deepest condolences to those who have lost their loved ones in this accident. With this, I wish the injured a speedy recovery. “Â
Later, about the fire incident, the tweet was, “The fire incident in Indore, Madhya Pradesh is very sad. I express my deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in this tragedy. Along with this, I wish a speedy recovery to all the injured. “Â
According to the source, in Indore’s accident, nearly seven individuals were killed while nine endured wounds. Certain individuals even jumped off the building to save their lives, which has 10 pads. The reason behind the fire was set off by an electric short out said Harinarayan Chari Mishra, Indian Police commissioner.Â
Meanwhile, in Uttar Pradesh, a road accident on a stretch of the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura claimed the lives of seven individuals. “Seven people died and two others were injured after a vehicle hit their car on the Yamuna Expressway near Mathura.” Among the seven killed, three are women, three are men, and one child died on the spot. Another child and a man are hospitalized. They were going to a wedding in Noida, “Mathura Superintendent of Police (Rural), Shrish Chandra told ANI. On the other hand, Mathura’s accident took the lives of seven people and two were injured. The police said the deceased were getting back to Noida from Hardoi subsequent to going to a marriage function when their vehicle crashed into one more vehicle at 5 am. Mathura’s Superintendent of Police said, “Among the seven killed, three were women and three were men.” One child also died. Another child and a man are hospitalized.Â
Both UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said they were sorry and that they would make sure those who were hurt got the care they needed.Â
