With the fall of the English Rose at her ripe age of 96, sitting through the greatest stories, sacrifices, and moments the world had ever known, the enigmatic air surrounding her life and death has intensified.
In a development, the world got to lay its hands on what the Royal Family calls Her Majesty’s secret letters. While the whole concept of sending and receiving letters comes down to opening them and keeping them close to our hearts, the Queen seems to exhibit a different perspective.
A letter addressed by the majesty herself to the people of Australia lies in the vault, confined to the walls of the historical Queen Victoria’s building. The Late Majesty, seemingly addressing the letter to the Mayor of Sydney, writes, “Greetings. On an appropriate day selected by you in the year 2085 A.D, kindly open and deliver this message to the wonderful citizens of your country.”
While 2085 is a long time running, many across the globe and on the internet couldn’t help but hang their mouths in astonishment at her majesty’s orders. While 63 more years might seem like a short time in contrast to the year we live in, many feel that it might get hard to live with the curiosity explosion her majesty has left behind.
Well, what do you think about the letter her majesty might have left behind? Would the curiosity behind the envelope, having belled us, the cats, kill us too?
