Rashmika Mandanna celebrated her 26th birthday on Tuesday, April 5. For an actress so early in her career, she has been leaving an impressive mark on everyone. She nearly has 30 million followers on Instagram, where her fans have already declared her as ‘National Crush’. Rashmika Mandanna has been in the news ever since the release of the Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa.
On the occasion of her birthday, various fans took to Twitter to share their favorite looks of Rashmika from her various films. Rashmika was born in Virajpet, a town in Kodagu, Karnataka. She completed her schooling at Coorg Public School and her pre-university course at PSE Institute of Technology.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from M.S. Ramaiah College of Arts, Science, and Commerce in the field of Psychology, Journalism, and English Literature. She was always into modeling, since her early days of studies, and has also been featured in a few advertisements.
Her career so far
Rashmika Mandanna started her career as a model, but soon she stepped into Indian Cinema with her first Kannada film ‘Kirik Party’. The movie turned out to be a blockbuster that set the path for her successful career. She received South Indian International Award for Best Debut Actress in a leading role for the film.
She was part of various hits like Anjani Putra, Chamak, Chalo, and Geetha Govindam. Hit after hit, she became one of the most successful actresses in the South Indian Film Industry. She was honored with multiple Best Actress awards for her work in the film ‘Anjani Putra’.
Rashmika Mandanna expanded her wings by featuring not just in Kannada films, but also in Tamil and Telugu. She made her debut in Telugu movies with the film ‘Chalo’. She also gave several hits which include, ‘Geetha Govindam’, ‘Devdas’, ‘Dear Comrade’, ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’, and ‘Bheeshma’ to name a few.
Her Tamil debut came with the 2021 film ‘Sulthan’, in which she paired opposite Karthi. Her work spoke so much for her, that offers started rolling in from Bollywood. She is set to make her Bollywood debut with ‘Mission Majnu’ in which she will work alongside Sidharth Malhotra.
Not only that but she was also offered a chance to work alongside Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan in the movie ‘Goodbye’, which she graciously accepted. On her 26th birthday, we all wish that her future be blessed with success and happiness.
