The Red Fort is the living witness of 75 years of independence.  From the 1857 revolt to jallianwala bagh, Dandi March to the non-cooperation movement, it witnessed it all. The brave, fearless soldiers who died for the country and its freedom, the nation respected them with the tricolor.Â
In the “Red Fort,” or Kilaye Mubarak, the sun every morning showers its very first rays on the fort. Every 15 August, it becomes the symbol of pride for every Indian and becomes the historical signature that after independence, every prime minister has addressed to the nation.
The flag floats in the sky, carrying the pride, emotions, and self-respect of 140 crores of Indians.
When the slogan of ‘Jai Hind‘ is raised by the most powerful person in the country from the red fort, the emotions of thousands of Indians dance under the open sky. The faces turn red with pride and happiness for the nation just like the red walls of the Red fort.
This year Prime Minister Narendra Modi will put forward the blueprint of a new advanced India because India has changed history in the past 75 years and is still on the way to changing many.
strength of democracy is the national flag. Changing powers, and changing mindsets leave one thing in common the national symbol.
The history and the present are both peeps from it. In the past, Manmohan Singh was the Prime Minister and in the present time, Narendra Modi is.

Britain’s flag was taken off and the sky was shining as the combination of the most beautiful colors was flying high in the sky.
On 15 August every Indian danced and celebrated wholeheartedly. On 16 August Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru directly reached the Red fort, to give hope and strength to the injury that Indians got due to partition.
He gave the medicine of courage, he hoisted the national flag.

Every Indian is breathing under the free air of a free country but on 15 August the centre of attraction for every eye is the Red fort. Its history speaks, its pride glorifies, and its shine is more than before.
Red fort is the center of power. It has a history of many decades. In the freedom struggle when Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose gave the slogan ‘Dilli Chalo in 1945, he considered the Red fort as the symbol of Delhi.Â
On 16 August 1947 the national flag was hoisted from the Red fort and from then on every year on 15 August Prime Minister hoisted the national flag from the Red fort.
On that day the country sees its leader addressing the nation.
The question is why only the Red fort was chosen as the symbol of freedom. To know this why we have to go through the history of slavery.
Netaji Bose gave the slogan ‘Dilli Chalo keeping Red fort the symbol of freedom as many hearings of many freedom fighters were performed from Red fort and also the three soldiers of Indian National Army were given death penalty from the Red fort.
Court martial was performed against them in the Red fort.
Jawaharlal Nehru was seen wearing the black coat, he was the lawyer in defense of the soldiers. After independence, giving respect to Netaji’s dream of seeing the national flag on top of the Red fort, Nehru hoisted the flag from the Red fort, and from then it has been the part.
Every 15 August every Indian looks up at the Red fort and a celebration of the event begins from it. This time the walls of the Red fort will shine more brightly as it’s a celebration of its 75th anniversary.
It’s a celebration of breaking of boundaries of slavery and celebrating the independence of 75 years.
Holding the fingers of the present, let’s walk in the street of the past where Red fort was just a dream. It is the story of the time when India was ruled by the Mughals.
Mughal emperor Shah Jahan was running his empire from Agra but with the humidity, in the atmosphere, and less space for the soldiers, he decided to rule from Delhi.
And hence in 1618, the first brick of the Red fort was kept. Who would have thought that today the destiny of independent India would tie it not from Red fort?
Red fort took almost 30 years to get its complete form. The rooms inside the Red fort were also mesmerizing. Two gates were kept at the Red fort, ‘Delhi gate’ and ‘Lahori gate.
The pride of the tricolour welcomes the whole nation from the Lahori gate. With time it has become a part of freedom.
Red fort situated at the center of Delhi has seen the fall of the royal Mughal Empire to the rule of Britishers in India. Britishers destroyed around 80% of the beautiful decoration of the Red fort.
The Red fort witnessed the slavery of India, witnessed the torcher of the Britishers, witnessed the suffocation in the air, and witnessed how the nation was greedy for hoisting their flag.
The red fort had witnessed the struggle, the sacrifices for the nation, and the devotion to freedom.
The glory of India is never ending and the Red fort is part of its amazing journey.
