The Rishab Shetty film has already joined the high-grossing films of the year club at the box office and the news of the film being remade in Hindi.
Rishab Shetty’s Kantara ruling the Box-office
Kantara is now ruling over the box office and the hearts of the viewers and it has crossed more than 250 crores all over India.
The film got an overwhelming response after the Hindi dubbed version was released in the theatres. The film mostly took over all the recent film records covering all the profits and with no negatives feedbacks from the critics as well.
Director Rishab Shetty shared his gratitude towards the audience and said he’s proud to present his culture in front of the people.
He also added that it’s important to showcase your roots from where you belong too. Rishab Shetty expressed that he didn’t expect such enthusiasm from the audience and he was taken aback by all the unexpected views the film gained.
On being asked, whether he would want to see or think about a Hindi remake of the film, he said that the film has a special essence that would not be possible to recreate again.
The film has its original identity which I want to remain intact over the years. Rishab Shetty also said that “this film represents a culture that is quite hard to portray by somebody who does not know about it or feel the real inheritance”.
There were rumors that the film will be recreated in a new Hindi version for which the director Rishab Shetty was approached to share some of his insights but later the director denied the proposal of the remake.
The film is being appreciated all over the country and is getting the fame it deserves.
Netizens also claim that there are few regional movies like Tumbadd that should be recognized well at the box office but didn’t due to the lack of audience attention, but now the audience is quite responsive towards good films.
Regional films this year have turned into massive hits because of the accurate attention and recognition from the audience. Films like Sita Ramam, and Charlie 777, Kantara had a massive impact on the audience this year. They are the film’s critics and the audience feels connected the most.
Celebrities all over the country are praising the masterpiece. The social media handles of the known faces are already talking about the film’s success and the beautifully portrayed cinema onscreen.
Critics and reviews presented the film with more than 4-star ratings for the film’s commendable story and cinematography.
Kantara was made within a modest budget of 16 crores and has successfully marked its territory all over the country.
The film speaks about the Kannada culture and its attributes sparkling on the screen through the camera. The film has not decided on an OTT release yet, but the team will soon drop a few hints regarding that as well.
