On Sunday morning, when a writer Salim Khan was sitting on the bench of Bandra Bandstand after completing his morning walk, an unidentified person handed over a letter threatening him and his son Salman Khan, the official said.
On Sunday, Megastar of Bollywood Salman Khan and his father Writer Salim Khan be given an unknown letter threatening to kill him and his son.
After that Salim Khan, with the help of his security team, spoke to the nearest police station and lodged an FIR at Bandra police station. The case was registered under section 506-2 (criminal intimidation).

Mumbai Crime Branch police reached Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s house in Bandra on Monday and spoke to his family after a case was registered by Salim Khan for receiving an anonymous letter on Sunday and their security was beefed up.
After that Bollywood star, Salman Khan left for Hyderabad on Monday amid tight security. The actor was spotted at Kalina airport in Mumbai, where Salman Khan was seen with his security details accompanied by the armed police force.
According to reports, Salman Khan has gone to Hyderabad to restart shooting for his upcoming movies.
The police also investigate the location where Salim Khan had received the unknown letter of threat. The official said that taking the letter as a priority basis, the police are examining the various footage of CCTVs installed in the zone to identify the person who had given the threatening note to Salim Khan.
In 2018, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi threatened to kill megastar Salman Khan, due to which gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has now been linked in connection with the threat letter.
Now Lawrence Bishnoi is being questioned about the letter but Lawrence Bishnoi denies his connection with the letter.
