Apple’s next event will take place on 12th of September and will unveil the brand-new iPhone 15 series. There are a total of four variants of the iPhone 15 series that are expected to be revealed on the day of the event, which are iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
It is also rumored that along with the iPhone 15 series, Apple will also launch its Apple Watch 9 series and Apple Watch Ultra 2.
Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max Leaked Specs
The iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to have a 6.7 inch display which is similar to the previous iPhone 14 Pro Max models. From this year onwards, Apple has discarded its previous iPhones made up of stainless steel and instead they have used a titanium chassis to make this new range of iPhones much lighter in weight, then their predecessors.
According to a report by MacRumors, the iPhone 14 Pro models will remove the mute button and replace it with a new action button. The function of this action button is in the dark for now.
The iPhone 15 pro max is expected to get an upgrade in the context of performance with the brand-new A17 bionic chip or with the use of 5G Qualcomm modem chip. These new models will be coming with “Dynamic Island”.
Many exports of the tech industry such as Mark Gurman and Ming-Chi Kuo have stated that the iPhone 15 series will most likely have a USB-C charging port to meet with the European Union’s new rule.
For now, there has been no official statement by Apple itself on this topic specifically but it is rumored that the charging port will be coming along with USB 3.2 or Thunderbolt 3 transfer speeds.
In the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the first leaked specification is that the cameras will have better optical zooming capabilities. The phone may include a new Periscopic lens, which will allow the camera to 5x to 6x in its optical zooming capacity.
Experts do believe that this new enhancement in the zoom in capacity of the iPhone will bring tough competition to Samsung high-end smartphones, which are hyped up in the youth for their 30x or 50x zooming capabilities. Lastly, the iPhone 15 pro max is expected to come in for new different color options: blue, silver, grey and black.
The Dilemma of Upgrade
In terms of the price of the iPhone 15 series, they are much more than the last iPhone 14 series like always. The rumored price is around $1199 and $1299 which is $100and $200 more than the previous year models of the Pro and Pro Max respectively.
If we calculate the price of the 15 pro max and pro models in the context of the Indian currency keeping in mind the prices of the previous models then the amount will line up to Rs.1,10,000 in the starting range.
However, all of the specifications are based on recently released leaks online, and the official confirmation of all of these leaks will be on 12th of September, which is the date for the upcoming Apple event. Therefore, all of our doubts and rumors will be confirmed on that day.
After speculations and leaks about the iPhone 15 series, it is safe to say that it is not mandatory to upgrade. The iPhone 15 has catapulted the iPhone into even a more premium range than last year with no groundbreaking changes.
