China’s commercial center of Shanghai testing faces a sudden round of testing for most of the residents in this weekend where lockdown was lifted because of Covid-19 testing.
This has led to raising concerns among the residents about the impact on their business. After detecting a few cases in the locality, the authorities have ordered PCR Covid-19 testing for all the residents in Shanghai testing 16 districts to stop the outbreak.

Whereas other people reacted by saying that how this testing has affected their weekend plans like visiting the doctors etc. Also, there were many people who expressed fear and anxiety about getting locked down again.
Some parts of Shanghai had to return to lockdown after June 1 due to some of the positive cases.
Many people even got infuriated about queueing for hours to get tested at the booths that are haphazard around the city.
Residents need to prove that they have been tested within the last 72 hours to enter areas like malls and offices – or even to use subways and buses.

Some parts of Shanghai had remained under or returned to lockdown shortly after June 1 due to positive cases and their close contacts. Three of the latest infections that led to several closures were traced to a popular beauty salon in the city center.
Meanwhile, Beijing shut entertainment and internet venues in two of the capital’s largest districts after tracing cases to a few bars.
