Bengaluru:- After the schools received the bomb threat, bomb squads and senior police officials rushed to the locations on Friday morning and according to the police “A very powerful bomb has been planted in your school, the threat stated and bomb squads have been deployed at the locations and search operations are underway.
On Thursday Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that he has directed the state police to probe the authenticity of the video that has allegedly been released by the International Terror group Al-Qaeda expressing its views on India’s hijab row.
On Friday, in other news, Amnesty International India Chair Aakar Ptel moved a contempt application in Delhi High Court after he was prevented for the second time from flying out of country and the Rouse Avenue District Court in Delhi had ordered the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to withdraw its Look Out Circular (LOC) against Patel, due to which he was prevented from flying to the United States from Bengaluru
Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Kamal Pant said “Four schools on the outskirts of Bengaluru have received bomb threat through email, our local police are checking it out.”
He also added that there is a drill and as per that the bomb squads have gone there for checking and all children were immidiately evacuated and taken to safer places.
