The world is full of psychos. Some of them went on to become psycho serial killers. Psychos are psychos because they want attention, and by media coverage or exposure, people turned them into celebrities, they had more motivation to kill others, so here is a list of killers celebrities:
. The Brooklyn Vampire-
Albert Fish was a serial killer who lived in the early 1990s. He was charged with rape, murder, and cannibalism. He ate three children and claimed to have murdered a hundred more. What distinguishes him in the list is that he sent a letter to one of his victims’ mothers, detailing the entire process of his murder, including the abduction and eating of her daughter. Even Dr. Hannibal Lecter would shred that letter.Â
. The Long Island Serial Killer-
The Long Island Serial Killer, a dangerous and cunning operator who enjoys calling victims’ family and friends to taunt them, began his heinous task in the 2000s, leaving bodies wrapped in burlap at Gilgo Beach. The investigation is still ongoing but ten bodies have been linked to this man, most of them were sex workers found on Craigslist.
. Jack the Ripper-
This one does not require much of an introduction or explanation. Jack the Ripper became notorious for his serial killings of prostitutes in London in 1888. He would sever their throats and mutilate their abdomens, extracting some of their internal organs. It’s worth noting that his identity was never revealed, but he was someone who disliked paying for sexual encounters.
. The Zodiac Killer-
The Zodiac Killer, possibly the only serial killer to rival Jack the Ripper in notoriety, worked in California in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He used multiple murder methods and also sent police taunting letters containing codes allegedly containing his name and other information. The Zodiac is responsible for 5 deaths, 37 of which were claimed by the killer himself.
. Colonial Parkway Killer-
Three pairs of people were killed off The Colonial Parkway in Virginia between 1986 and 1989. A fourth person is missing and presumed dead. They were strangled and their throats were cut in each case. These deaths are believed to be the result of a member of law enforcement or a person impersonating a police officer.
. Oakland County Child Killer/ The Babysitter-
Due to the heinousness of the crime, four children in Michigan are known to have been abducted by this murderer, kept alive for days, abused, and then hacked to pieces, their bodies dumped all over Oakland Country.
. Highway of Tears Killer-
Between 1969 and 2011, 19 women were killed on a stretch of road in British Columbia, Canada, proving that not all Canadians are polite. Many of the victims were indigenous, and the disappearances of another 40 women in the same area were also most likely the result of the killer or killers who use this area as a hunting ground.
. The Bone Collector-
The Bone Collector, or West Mesa Bone Collector, is known to have killed 11 women between 2001 and 2005 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, favoring prostitutes and drug addicts like most serial killers, with a preference for Hispanic women. Given that these murders were not discovered until 2009, years after they occurred, The Bone Collector is most likely still in operation. They also made a movie with the same name.
. Monster of the Andes
During his killing sprees across Southern America, Pedro Alonso Lopez claims to have raped and murdered over 300 women. More than 50 of his victims were under the age of twelve. After being apprehended and confessing to all of his crimes, he was declared insane and released in 1998 on good behavior. It appears that your good behavior compensates for the majority of your bad doings.
