India, which has seen a decrease in the cases at the beginning of this year has again started to see a slow rise in the number of infected. Cases of COVID-19 have been steadily increasing in Delhi, Noida, and Ghaziabad during the last few days. In the last 48 hours, a total of 54 infected people have been detected, with a total of 23 reported registered cases being determined to be school pupils in the Noida district of Uttar Pradesh. In Noida, five important schools have disclosed and come forward with positive test cases that have occurred in their respective schools. Covid was found in 16 cases, including the teachers, who all tested positive. Â
Similarly, three students from Ghaziabad who were enrolled in private schools were also found to test positive for COVID-19. Previously, Ghaziabad closed two schools due to corona. It has been stated that another school will be closed as well. While a school in Indirapuram declared that it would close its doors for the next three days, another in Noida has temporarily switched to an online method of instruction for a week to reduce the number of sick students and prevent the virus from spreading. Â
Dr. Bhavtosh Shankhdhar, the Chief Medical Officer of Ghaziabad, stated that of the three students, two are from the same school and of these two, one resides in Noida.
“Their COVID-19 test results were known while the students were at their homes and not in school. We will be doing our tests and vaccinations in the schools, “the doctor told PTI. Â
According to the statistics provided by the Union Health Ministry, following a climb in the daily surge that crossed the 1000 mark on Tuesday, another 88 new Corona cases were logged in the last 24 hours, making it a total of 1,088 cases, indicating a continuing increase in the number of cases reported.
