The Most Valuable Team of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 included Indian hitters Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav. Hardik Pandya has been picked as the 12th man.
England won the championship for the second time in T20 World Cup history after defeating Pakistan in the final. After the tournament, the ICC decided on the most valuable team in the tournament.
Despite winning their Super 12 group and advancing to the semifinals, India ultimately fell short of expectations as they were defeated by eventual champions England by an enormous margin of 10 wickets in the last four matches.
However, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav were the two most valuable players who had a fantastic tournament and made it into the ICC’s Most Valuable XI for the T20.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 Most Valuable Team includes players from six different teams.
Jos Buttler, England’s captain and wicketkeeper, Alex Hales, another opening batter, and seamer Sam Curran all make the team after guiding their team to a second ICC Men’s T20 World Cup championship.
There are stars from England, runners-up Pakistan, semifinalists India and New Zealand, along with Zimbabwe and South Africa, in the impressive squad.
Glenn Phillips of New Zealand, Virat Kohli of India, Shaheen Shah Afridi of Pakistan, and Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe are also included in the starting lineup.
Kohli is the tournament’s leading run-scorer. India all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been picked as the 12th man. He scored 128 runs and took eight wickets, shining with both bat and ball.

A committee made up of commentators, former international players, and journalists selected the most valuable team. Wasim Khan (ICC General Manager of Cricket), Ian Bishop (Convener), Mel Jones (both commentators), Shivnarine Chanderpaul (ICC Hall of Famer), and Partha Bhaduri (journalist, The Times of India) were the members of the selection committee.
A Spectacular Comeback of King Kohli
The most prolific run scorer in the competition was Virat Kohli, who scored 296 runs in just six games to make a spectacular comeback. Kohli, who finished the tournament with a stunning average of 98.66, is batting at No. 3.
He ended up as the leading run-scorer of this world cup. He played some important innings against Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Netherlands, and even in the semifinal match against England.
He scored four half-centuries in six matches.

To lead his team to a heart-pounding last-ball, four-wicket triumph, Kohli began his campaign by scoring an essential 82 runs unbeaten against Pakistan.
And further innings of 64 not out against Bangladesh, 62 not out against the Netherlands, and 50 against England in the semifinals helped to round off a personal tournament to remember for one of the best white-ball batters of the contemporary age.
Suryakumar Yadav, “Mr. 360”
Suryakumar Yadav, who finished only behind Virat Kohli in the run rankings, amassed 239 runs from six matches with a strike rate of 189.68, the highest of any batsman in the competition.
Suryakumar Yadav’s ability to hit shots all over the wicket earned him the nickname “Mr. 360,” and he firmly established himself as one of the top middle-order batters in T20 cricket.
Suryakumar is ranked as the third-most productive batter in the competition. He scored three half-centuries against the Netherlands (51*), South Africa (68), and Zimbabwe (61).
India couldn’t win the tournament, but these two players have won our hearts with their fantastic performances.
