Shark Tank India’s Ashneer Grover shared a picture of his weight loss on his Instagram which grabbed the interest of the fans to use some of his own one-liners against him in the comments of his post.
Shark Tank India judge Ashneer Grover shared a new update on his weight loss journey. Grover had previously shared that he had lost an adequate amount of weight in June, and in his recent Instagram post, he disclosed that he has now lost a total 10 kgs.
In his caption, he wrote ‘discipline and stubbornness’ of his body transformation. The picture showed a slim Ashneer posing in a black casual T-shirt and brown pants. He had joked earlier in an interaction that his only downside to fame is that he has to check his weight now.
Reacting to his post, YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, who had parodied Ashneer, commented, “Bhai kya kar raha hai tu?” This was a recommendation to a comment made by Grover on the show. Others also co-opted Ashneer’s own words. “Samosa khao bhai. Ye doglapan hai,” one person jokes.Ashneer had earlier credited his weight loss to éat healthy and walking kms’. He has now said that he has committed his snack time to working out in the gym now.
Ashneer became a household name after the first season of Shark Tank India on Sony TV. He alongside with other ‘sharks’ like Shaadi.com’s Anupam Mittal, BoAt’s Aman Gupta, Sugar Cosmetics’ Vinita Singh, MamaEarth’s Ghazal Alagh, Lenskart’s Peyush Bansal and Emcure Pharmaceuticals’ Namita Thapar, were presented as judges, or ‘sharks’, in the reality show. His personality on the show quickly made him one of the fan-favorites, and some of his mannerisms and comments had inspired memes.
In an interview hosted by the Master’s Union YouTube channel, Ashneer said that each of his shark colleagues agreed to do the show because they were striving for stardom. He quoted, “Even if you talk to all the sharks now, they’re going to make big claims about the various reasons they did the show. I’ll tell you right now, all the sharks got on the show to get famous. Because everyone is educated, everyone has started businesses, what is there for self-discovery? Glory, right? That’s what they all came for. Then say it! Why do you integrate nation and entrepreneurship into it?”
