The roller ball pens are but hefty, they consist of the same dye-in-water ink found in fountain pens, at the ball end of the refill. Writing through ball pens is easy to write and much easier to change the refill. Roller balls write effortlessly and create very fine lines and the ink dries quickly, one point of the roller ball is that they need a cap to prevent ink from drying.

They are a cross between a felt marker and a roller ball pen, the ink is the same as found in a roller ball or fountain pen, and it’s advised to keep the cap off as the ink dries quickly.
CAPLESS PENS:
1. Gel Pen:
Gel pens are a hybrid between ballpoint and free-flowing rollerball ink, the writing flow of gel is smooth as the gel ink uses grade pigment in a water-based gel. The gel pen provides you with sharp, featherless lines and strong colors.
2. Ball Point Pen:
These ball pens were invented as a substitute and replacement for fountain and roller-ball pens. The ink in the ball pen is oil based which allows it to stick to paper more than it really dries, the pros of ball pen are that they last longer and their ink does not dry out. As said, the ball pen ink’s flow requires pressure as the ink does not flow smoothly and they are more pressure sensitive while writing and making lines that aren’t bold.
