If you try, you can find trends anywhere and fashion is one field where trends are everlasting. You can see a new trend in clothing or makeup or hair styling almost every day and when you don’t find it, you would see a repetition of old trends with some new touch.  Â
Here we would see a different sort of fashion trend. We have here trends that fashion brands/ e-retailers use or are starting to use. These are tactics which help them keep up with the market. Â
Here are some of these trends:Â Â
Making it to Metaverse:Â
Starting with the latest trend among the fashion brands especially those who own e-retail sites.  Metaverse is a universe created in digital spaces. Whatever you see here, is real but just digitally, it can’t be used in the real world. This basically is a virtual reality. Â
Taking this concept forward we now have NFTs or Non-Fungible Tokens. These are digitally created arts or digital forms of actual art which can be bought by the public on digital platforms using digital currency like bitcoin. Â
Fashion brands are leaping forward and investing in creating their own NFTs. These are the digital forms of their designs and clothing collections. Some fashion brands that have quickly given into NFTs are Adidas, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Nike and Balenciaga. Â
A step towards sustainability:Â
Sustainable Fashion is another latest trend that fashion brands are following. This means clothing made out of sustainable fibres such as Recyclable Polyester, Organic Cotton, Merino Wool, Organic Lenin and other such fabrics. This kind of clothing is also made using techniques which use fewer resources and are hence, eco-friendly. Â
Fashion brands like Levis, Zara, and Adidas have adopted this method of making their products. Some brands in India and throughout the world have started as Sustainable Fashion brands in themselves. Some of these brands include Vetta, Mix Mitti, and Brogger. Â
This kind of clothing is also cost-friendly as they are made with a cost-friendly method. This further makes them easily sellable as well. Â
Fashion according to the season:Â
This is again a recurring trend. When a fashion brand or a fashion e-shop comes up with some sort of collection according to the season. These collections are even named as such; Spring Collection, Summer Collection, Winter Collection and so on. Â
These collections have dresses which are easy to wear during the season they are made for. Recently the brands have come up with Summer Collections or Spring Collections depending upon the kind of weather there is in the country their main store is located.Â
Brand and Brand friendships:Â
This means the collaboration between the two brands. This is not an old trend it’s not a new trend either as it keeps on recurring. This trend adds to the sales and monetary value of both brands due to a double promotion.Â
Some of the biggest brand X brand collabs of last year are Versace and Fendi, Gucci and Balenciaga and Balenciaga and CrocsÂ
This trend is not limited to brands coming up with other brands. It is also about brands collaborating with e-retailers. This helps them reach a wide range of customers and as it eases transportation of the product.Â
Some collaborations between fashion brands and fashion e-shops include Biba on Amazon, Myntra’s collab with UK’s brand Misguided and other such collabs. Â
The fashion conclusion:Â
These trends do not just give the brands a way to promote themselves and reach a wider range of customers but, the customers too find them attractive.Â
At times, these offers or tricks the brands use may not seem affordable for some customers depending on their economic condition. But they still lure them. For example, NFTs and Brand Collabs may give out expensive products but it still excites the public. And even if they do not buy them, they in some or the other way promote them. Â
