Uddhav Thackeray meets Sharad Pawar and call shiv sena’s national executive meeting.
Uddhav Thackeray meeting with Sharad Pawar and ministers-
Ajit Pawar, the deputy chief minister, arrived at Matoshree, the mansion of chief minister Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai, amid the ongoing political crisis in Maharashtra brought on by the uprising in the Shiv Sena and NCP leader Sharad Pawar.
State minister Jayant Patil and NCP leader Praful Patel accompanied the leaders. The leaders are anticipated to talk about ways to stop the MVA government, which also includes the Congress, from falling.
The NCP would work to “keep the government stable,” according to Ajit Pawar’s earlier statement of the day.
Shiv Sena’s turmoil persisted as rebel leader Eknath Shinde claimed support from 38 party MLAs.
At a meeting of the party’s district chiefs, Thackeray declared that he had left Varsha Bungalow, the Chief Minister’s official home, but had retained his “desire to fight.”
“I’ve previously stated that I have nothing to do with power. Today, many who once declared they would rather perish than leave the Shiv Sena have escaped “he said.
“For Eknath Shinde, I gave my all. I handed him the position I held in my department. His own son is an MP, and remarks about my son are being made. There are numerous accusations made against me, “he said.
He continued, “If they have the guts, they should walk among people without using the names Balasaheb and Shiv Sena.”
According to Thackeray, who had cervical spine surgery last year, “I couldn’t function properly, I couldn’t open my eyes, and I had neck and head pain, but I didn’t care. Despite being defeated, Shivaji Maharaj always had support.”
Here are some points regarding the current political crisis in Maharashtra-
Eknath Shinde reversed course and denied any “major national party” was involved in the uprising. He said that the odds are in his favor and the rebel group will soon see the Governor when he stated “a huge power” was backing us, referring to Balasaheb Thackeray and late Sena leader Anand Dighe.
In response to Shinde, Uddhav Thackeray declared that he will battle the revolt and claimed that greed has led the rebel MLAs into joining the opposition.
“After Balasaheb Thackeray’s passing, Shinde was twice appointed as a minister (in 2012). We held power twice (after 2012). He was given the departments that the chief minister would typically oversee. You should avoid using the name Thackeray in politics and try to live “Uddhav Thackeray stated, criticizing Shinde.
Considering the ongoing issue, Uddhav Thackeray called for a meeting of All Sena National Executives today, at 1 PM in Sena Bhavan, Mumbai.
Uddhav Thackeray’s camp filed a petition to have 16 Sena MLAs removed as the numbers game intensified. However, several independent MLAs rejected this action. During this, Shiv Sena’s request to name MLA Ajay Chaudhary as the legislature party leader was approved by Maharashtra Assembly Deputy Speaker Narhari Zirwal. After the uprising, Shide was demoted from the same position.
In response, Narhari Zirwal of the NCP was called out for being prejudiced in favor of the Uddhav camp by two independent MLAs and Shinde.
Asserting that it has nothing to do with the recent political developments in the Shiv Sena and the state, the BJP has distanced itself from the unrest. The MVA coalition, according to Union minister Piyush Goyal, is unholy, completely corrupted, and certain to fail.
Eknath Shinde, along with several other MLAs, went into hiding following the MLC election results, which caused the current political crisis in Maharashtra. Hours after the elections, in which the BJP won a fifth seat despite not having enough seats in the Assembly, the rebel MLAs led by Shinde arrived at a hotel in Surat. Since then, more MLAs have joined the Guwahati-based dissident group
