The samples of the blood were collected and were sent to the forensic lab for examination but the blood samples recovered could not be developed forensically hence putting a stop again in the investigation process .
It is indeed a rare occasion to have lack of forensic evidence in solving the case. Advances in the forensic technology has improved significantly as it has the ability to identify the suspects of the crime who abandoned the unidentified bodies on the sugarcane fields even if it has been years since the occurrence of the crime.
Sudhir Kumar, a retired Deputy Superintendent of Police from Uttar Pradesh, highlighted the advancements in forensic labs, stating
“According to Sudhir Kumar, a retired Deputy Superintendent of Police from Uttar Pradesh, advancements in forensic labs have made it possible to obtain DNA even from a single preserved bone, even if it has been 10 years since the crime. In the past, accused individuals would claim to have washed off blood stains from their clothing, but now DNA can still be recovered even after washing the clothes multiple times.
As murders have already crossed three years, the authorities are still working hard to bring justice to the unidentified victims and their families. The police are urging the locals to provide any kind of leads that help to assist in the ongoing investigations.
