Union Minister Amit Shah is on a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir. Ahead of his visit he is going to inaugurate a few development projects and is also going to address a public Rally at 12:30 P.M. He is also going to hold meetings along with the Kashmiri pandits after the public rally.
Srinagar: Amit Shah is going to inaugurate a few development projects and will also lay the foundation of a few other developments, on Sunday during his three days visit to J&K. during the second day in Jammu and Kashmir, Shah will be flying off to Jammu ahead of attending the convocation that is going to be held at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), during Sunday morning. Apart from that after addressing the rally, he is going to hold a meeting along with the Kashmiri Pandits because of the killing of the Civilians that took place recently. Even an official said that” Given the improvement in the weather in Jammu, the BJP has decided to organize Amit Shah’s rally at JDA Ground, Bhagwati Nagar now. Yesterday, the party had decided to change the venue to Gen Zorawar Singh Auditorium. But now, the plan has been altered again.” After that Amit Shah is going to fly back to Srinagar on Sunday evening.
This will be the first visit of the Union Minister in the union territory after the abrogation of Article 370, during August 2019. Which had stripped Jammu and Kashmir out of its special status. On Saturday Shah had held a key security meeting. In the meeting, there was the Top Civil administration which included Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. Among the others were the senior security officials who belonged from the Army, CRPF, police, and the other agencies. In the meeting, there were discussions in which he was briefed about the steps that are going to take place to eliminate terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir, and also the counter-infiltration measures that are going to take place by the forces said an official in a statement. The recent assassination of the civilian that took place in Jammu is also a major topic that is going to be discussed in the meeting. Apart from the inaugural of the new projects he is also going to announce a few more development projects and is also going to look into the matter of removal of terrorism from the State.

On Saturday, the Union Minister had inaugurated a flight service that directly connects Srinagar and Sharjah, which is located in the United Emirates. After the flagging of the flight between Srinagar and Sharjah, the Union Minister said that this introduction of the direct flight service is going to serve and is surely going to boost the trade and tourism between Jammu and Kashmir and U.A.E. on the final day of his three-day visit Shah is going to hold a meeting along with the Civil society delegations. Which is located at the Sher-i- Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC), on Monday morning. After that, he is again going to hold a public rally to address the public. He is going to address this rally at the SKICC, the rally is going to take place from 6 P.M. onwards. Shah is going to be present in the Pulwama’s Lethpora, because of the wreath-laying ceremony and is also going to spend some time with Jawans. He is also going to likely stay in Pulwama or either he is going to come back to Srinagar on Monday evening. After that, on the 26th of October, he is going to fly back to Delhi.
