UP Boards overall outcome
The total pass percentage this year was 85.33 percent. 1909249 candidates passed the Class 12 board examination. Divyanshi from Fatehpur topped in Class 12. The second position was secured jointly by Anshika Yadav of Prayagraj and Yogesh Pratap Singh of Barabanki. Both of them got 95%, i.e., 475 out of 500.
According to the overall results, girls have done better than boys. The pass percentage of boys has been 81.21% while the same for girls is 90.15%.
5192689 candidates registered this year to opt for the high school board examinations. Only 4775749 students out of the total turned up to give the board examinations. The rest remained absent.
In the case of intermediate exams, there were a total of 2411035 candidates registered for the exam. Only 2250742 students appeared to sit for the exam. The rest 160293 remained absent. The fall in the number of candidates appearing is not a good sign for the state’s education.
The Class 12 examination for the state board was conducted from March 24th till April 13th, 2022. The Class 10 exams of the same boards were conducted across the same dates. They were held in various centers across India’s largest state.
Initially, students were unable to access the results at the time of announcement. This was caused by too much traffic in official site.
