He said that for the airlines to be the greatest again, it will require an organizational makeover, which will ” require a huge transformation, probably the largest transformation and the change all of you would ever go through.”Â
He stated that the airline would increase its “local and international reach” and aspires to connect India to every corner of the globe.Â
To accomplish its objectives, the airline will concentrate on providing excellent customer service, modernising the fleet, buying new aircraft, and growing the network. “We want Air India to provide the best customer service and to be a world-class airline, as it rightfully should be. According to Chandrasekaran, we want Air India to be the technologically most sophisticated airline in the world.
The addition of Air India to the Tata group, according to Chandrasekaran, will enable the conglomerate to represent the aspirations of 130 crore Indians, having already touched the lives of 60 crore Indians through its various brands, which include Taj hotels, Tanishq, Tata Salt, and Jaguar Land Rover.Â
