Most people say China is not a fool ,it will never attack India.
India… An emerging power, with a large army, a well-tested military power surely you all must have seen during Indo-Pak war on LOC or even in North East. China, on the other hand, whose PLA has not moved out of the barracks for a long time.
If I get my exact remembrance back, I can tell you that they came back from Vietnam in 1979 with a bloody nose. In 1967, four years after the humiliating defeat by Mao’s army, India won a decisive victory against China at the heights of Cho La and Nathu La on the Sikkim border.
According to this December 9,2022 report, there is news of a clash between India and China.

The incident happened near LAC (Line of Actual Control) in our Arunachal Pradesh. According to ANI sources, 300 PLA Chinese had come towards India, but Indian soldiers were ready to throw them back. Obviously, the tension between the two nuclear nations sharing a border has reached a new high.
The truth is that after the incident of Galwan in last June,2020 the situation has never been normal. During that clash we had lost our 20 Indian soldiers and Chinese had also faced damage accordingly but they never had shown exact figure.
After this the both armies never kept calm on boarders. The diplomacy also failed every time , you had seen the official declared dozen rounds meeting had failed.
If you closely view the China’s mindset and policy , they are continually developing infrastructure since 2020 though they are attending peace meet with India’s govt too. Afterall, they had to protect an image of “A PEACEFUL NATION”.
Xi Jinping has a ambition of Himalaya !
He wants to move steps forward to Mao Zedong and willing to teach India a new lesson .
But the question is , Is the PLA preparing its troops for high altitude warfare apart from improving military infrastructure near the LAC?
I recently read the newly launched book by Former Ambassador Rajeev Dogra. He mentioned why India has to be aware of China. Dogra said, India & China both want the top place in Asia but China never wants to share its place with India.
India’s policy is always like ostrich for China and China always use this liberal nature of India to strengthen Chin. Now in the era of Modi when we the people of India are in the wave of Modi, double engine or Vishwa Guru but China is in the mood of “now or never”.
Surely some internal force of China is playing this dynamic game.
In this time China is on top of demographics and economy and they are going down in it after few seasons. The reasons are very clear that the factories are collapsing, the economy of the state is slowly crumbling and the debt burden is increasing. So, this is the best time to win the war and establish yourself as a superpower.
A direct fight with the US is an unacceptable risk, so they may move towards a fight with India.
India always faces the threat of war as compared to Taiwan. If China’s Xi ever thinks of attacking Taiwan, it will face prompt action from Japan, Australia along with the US. China knows this, Harpoon-Cruise will destroy its pride badly. Therefore, Xi always avoids any triggering act with Taiwan. They know very well that the seizure of Taiwan will never lead to the development of their territory.
But Xi knows and believes that it will take more time for the “world guru” to get help.
The first reason is the President of the White House. Of course, Biden will help India very slowly, or may do so too late. But after getting help, the logistics are that even moving American weapons and troops to the great heights of the Himalayas is no easy task.
This is because India is currently ‘alone gun’.
Recently after the Ukraine war, where the Indian government chose a diplomatic line rather than blindly follow the US-led West. So, west have their own anger with India. Russia can take the side of brother -China instead of Friend India and what to say about Pakistan ! He is always ready to open second front against India.
Therefore, in this scenario Xi feels that the Himalayas are the best and beneficial option to transform and establish China as a superpower.
It is the nature of Xi , which India should think about !
I am saying , Xi is more dangerous than Mao because you must know Mao had Zhou Enlai as a sensible member to settle disputes but this Xi haven’t any ! So basically, he is a king without any adviser.
So, it was not a surprising act in Galwan or Tawang either. But China should know, especially their “king” that New India will not be a pushover. Mao was lucky, but you are not Xi!
