The 32-year-old actress Yami Gautam tied the knot with the Uri director, Aditya Dhar. The wedding had all Kashmiri rituals, and since then, Yami has been seen giving out significant style statements by wearing the traditional Kashmiri Dejhoor in all her appearances.

The actress turned heads with her fashionable outfits, but what caught our eye was her Kashmiri Dejhoor, a traditional ear ornament worn by newlyweds. Dejhoor is regarded to be as significant as a manga sutra in the rituals.

A gold bordered white saree dress from the brand Ituvana was one of the first outfits Yami wore for a promotional photoshoot for Bhoot Police. It was a white jersey dress with an attached embroidered drape with a border. Yami accessorised her look with a matte-gold neckpiece and an armlet, in addition to her Kashmiri Dejhoor.
Yami chose an outfit from Abraham & Thakore’s shelves for a photo shoot earlier this week. The dress is from the Sadak Smart collection by the brand. Yami was dressed in a tie-up choli and a skirt. Yami completed the look with sheer silk organza printed kimono jacket.
The entire outfit was covered in floral prints. She complimented her look with pearl studs and an elegant pearl neckpiece. She also wore delicate gold neckpieces, red bangles, and, of course, her Kashmiri Dejhoor.
Who said you couldn’t wear traditional jewellery with a western outfit? Take a cue from Yami. Yami chose a double-layer blazer dress in a lovely purple shade from the Joskai brand for an event.Â
The outfit is a traditional but mulberry silk dress with exaggerated sleeves that artisans in Assam handwoven. She completed her look with a Kashmiri Dejhoor and matte-gold bangles. Makeup was flawless, with smokey eyes and bare lips.
Yami dresses like a regal rani in a handwoven deep-pink authentic zari silk sari. The traditional Jamdani technique inspired the Ekaya saree. Yami wore the saree with a full-sleeved blouse in a lovely green hue.Â
Yami accessorised her look with gold earrings that were attached to her Kashmiri Dejhoor. Yami completed her look with a statement neckpiece set with stones and a bracelet.
