What is an automatic captioning feature?
It is introducing a new automatic captioning feature to facilitate many channels to add captions to them.
Along with it, it has planned to launch sound options. Some of the features are available to the users, and meanwhile, some will be available in the coming months.Â
Previously, those channels having more than 1000 subscribers only got the automatic caption creation feature, and there were some restrictions to use that feature.
But now, any YouTuber doing live-streaming in their channel with less than 1000 subscribers can also access this feature. This feature will help reach the video clip to a large number of viewers.
This audio feature is available in the YouTube studio and then go to stream settings to enable this feature.
Making automatic caption option is available in English only at present. Within some time, YouTube plans to introduce this feature in other 13 languages, including Dutch, French, German, etc.
These features enable quick YouTubers to connect with many users, ultimately increasing the video’s reach to a wide range of users.Â
Till recently, Channels would translate the tracks to any language when the user tries to access them on desktop.
But now, it has enabled users to read translations on their mobile too. Searchable transcripts are another feature available now, and the users can find the transcript of the content in their native language.
