At Least 10 individuals were killed and 30 others harmed when a private traveler transport slammed into a truck and burst into flames on Saturday morning, authorities said here.
The mishap occurred on the Aurangabad Street close to Nashik at around 5 a.m., said the Nashik Police.
The effect of the accident was immense to such an extent that the transport burst into flares, catching a large number of the travelers, resting at the early hour.
Communicating torment over the misfortune, Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde reported a remuneration of Rs 5 lakhs for the families of a victim and requested brief free treatment for all the injured.
