NOIDA: A quarrel about bill payment at a Noida pub resulted in the murder of a 30-year-old man. He died apparently as a result of severe injuries sustained after a struggle with bar personnel, officials said today.
A 30-year-old man died on Tuesday, officials said, after reportedly being hurt in an altercation at a restaurant bar in a Noida mall over bill payment.
According to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Noida) Ranvijay Singh, the event occurred Monday night at the Lost Lemons restaurant and bar at the Garden Galleria Mall, which is inside the Sector 39 police station’s jurisdiction.
According to authorities, the deceased guy has been identified as Brajesh from Bihar. “He’d joined his colleagues at the restro-bar for a celebration. At around 11 p.m., an altercation erupted between these individuals and the bar employees over the payment of a bill “Mr. Singh stated.
It immediately devolved into a brawl, in which Brajesh sustained life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a hospital, where he died, according to the police officer.
Eight suspects have been identified following a study of the CCTV material, he added. The police have filed an FIR or complaint and put over a dozen staff of the restaurant bar into custody, Mr. Singh said, adding that no arrests have been made yet.
