As the Russian army marched closer to the Polish border, at least 35 persons were reported dead on the western Ukrainian border. According to reports, the recurrent attack killed 9 civilians and injured at least 50 more, as acknowledged by Ukraine’s Lviv area Governor Maksym Kozytskyi.
The death of the New York Times correspondent was also announced by Sunday evening.

Russian advances to siege Kyiv
The capital city Kyiv has been encircled by the Russian military. Also, the heavy bombing had been initiated to choke any external aid line reaching Kyiv. As the Russian advances had already marched deeper nearing the Poland border, attempts are being made to take down the Ukrainian capital. While the Ukrainian army putting up a fight for their existence.
Polandās tryst and the USās rejection
Poland’s attempts to send soviet styled aircraft to Ukraine had been cancelled, as confirmed in the recent Kamala Harris visit to the country. Poland was wary of Russia, so it intended the aircraft be sent to Ukraine aid via the US. The USA has officially rejected the proposal. This came out like a blot in the continued cooperation of the NATO countries to Ukraine.
