In a recent interview with Good Morning America, which aired on September 22, Kanye West apologised to his ex-wife Kim Kardashian for his social media antics.
Throughout his ex-wife and Pete Davidson’s relationship, Kanye, 45-year-old rapper, uploaded multiple Instagram rants. Early in February, he removed a screenshot of a text message that he claimed to have gotten from Pete. It appears that the text says, “I’d never interfere with your kids.” I sincerely hope to meet them sometime and become friends with them.
KANYE WEST & KIM KARDASHIAN DIVORCE TIMELINE
For the unversed, Kim Kardashian, the famous reality star, filed for divorce from Kanye West in February 2021. The couple have four kids together: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. Most recently, the rapper posted alleged screenshots of text messages between him and Kardashian on Instagram, claiming that she was denying him the authority to make decisions on their children’s education and comparing the situation to his ongoing spats with Gap and Adidas.
“Me not being able to choose where my children attend school,” he captioned the now-deleted post. You can call me whatever you like. If you don’t understand why I will not back down from my businesses, brands, and children, then you’re insane. “
Kanye West recently apologised to Kim and openly expressed his regret for causing any stress to his ex-wife as a result of his Instagram antics.
She is the mother of my children, and I apologize for causing any stress, even in my distress, because God calls me to be a stronger person,” West said to Davis.Others should not cause stress either.I need this person to be as stress-free and calm as possible so I can raise my children.” When asked if he believes he has “a voice while co-parenting,” West stated that he has to “fight for it.”
On her Hulu show, The Kardashians, Kim recently revealed her commitment to peaceful co-parenting with West, explaining that she wants him to always be present for the kids.
Kim Kardashian has already expressed in her Instagram stories how distressing it is for her to witness Kanye publicly humiliate her.
In part, she wrote, “Kanye’s relentless attacks on me in interviews and on social media are actually more cruel than any TikTok North might create. “As the parent who is our daughter’s primary caretaker and provider, I am doing my best to protect her while also enabling her to express her creativity in the way she chooses under adult guidance. It makes her happy. Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and twist our situation so negatively and publicly is only making things worse for everyone. Divorce is already stressful on our kids.
