Actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have published a statement clarifying that they are 'legally married as of the year 2020 and are presently 'celebrating their union with friends and family.

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are hosting the festivities associated with their wedding, and a spokeswoman for the pair has confirmed that the couple has been “legally married” since the year 2020. A spokesman for the couple said in a statement that they had already registered for their wedding more than two and a half years ago and that they are currently “celebrating their union with friends and family.”
This is to clarify that Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have been legally married for 2.5 years when they registered for their wedding. The statement adds, “This is to clarify that Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have been lawfully married for 2.5 years.” They have already announced on the 29th of September in their announcement that they are currently celebrating their union with friends and family, and that celebration is currently taking place.
On September 29, Ali and Richa released a joint statement via an audio clip on Instagram. They discussed how they ‘formalized their union ‘ in 2020 but had to wait to celebrate it due to the epidemic. The statement was posted on September 29.
At the beginning of the note, Richa said, Before adding, “Like the rest of the nation, we too were struck by personal tragedies one after the other,” Ali began by saying, “Two years ago, we formalized our union and just then the pandemic hit us all.” Ali then continued by saying, “Like the rest of the nation, we too were struck by personal tragedies one after the other.” They continued by saying, “And now, as we all take advantage of this little moment of relief, we are finally rejoicing with our families and friends.” The love that has been shown to us and the blessings that have been bestowed upon us have left us feeling extremely moved and blessed.
They proceeded by saying, “They have already held their wedding receptions and festivities in Delhi and Lucknow, and they will now be conducting the last event tonight in Mumbai.”
The happy couple has already celebrated their wedding with parties and celebrations in Delhi and Lucknow, and they are currently preparing for a reception that will take place on Tuesday evening in Mumbai. The guest list for the celebration reportedly includes names such as Ayushman Khurana, Vicky Kaushal, Vidya Balan, Huma Qureshi, Karan Johar, Sanjay Dutt, and Taapsee Pannu. The reception is rumoured to be attended by a number of their colleagues from the Bollywood industry.
“They wanted to commemorate both their Punjabi and Lakhnavi culture,” states the official statement that was released by their spokesperson regarding these activities. In addition, the clothing was designed, and personal touches were given to them through the use of ancestral jewellery and a custom-made trousseau, which included a saree that was custom-made to depict the couple’s love journey.

On the sets of Fukrey in 2012 was where Richa and Ali had their first encounter with one another. They are also scheduled to appear together on screen in the upcoming instalment of the franchise known as Fukrey 3, which will be released in 2018. Ali Fazal had finally popped the question to Richa in 2019 after the couple had been together for seven years.
