Jimin has been loved not only by South Korea (as a superstar) but also all over the world. Thus, he also earned him some pet names such as Baby Mochi, Prak Jimin’s (his real name), Ddochi, etc.
His life was never a cakewalk. He faced a lot of difficulties at the start of his career.
Jimin Childhood
Since childhood, Jimin was a “dreamer boy”. As a child, he used to tell his mother that he wants to become a swordsman or a policeman. Also, was influenced by cartoons as a child.
Jemin hails from Busan. Growing up, he became passionate about dance which led him to a hip-hop class. He also later enrolled in Busan Arts High School. He learned modern dancing there.
Besides all this, he also excelled in his school. Soon, Jimin started auditioning for various companies. He was selected for Big Hit entertainment.
Here, begins the journey of stardom. He had to leave his family and move to Seoul for his career.
Jimin’s entry into BTS
Before making a mark in BTS, he was trained to be an Adil. He was later transferred to Korea Arts High School for further training. There, he was a classmate of BTS fame Kim Taehyung.
Jimin’s finally made his debut in June 2013. He has been a part of the band as a vocalist and also a dancer and also has a unique voice that is appreciated by his fans. In the initial days, BTS second-guessed themselves. However, ultimately his struggles and hard work paid off.
All the members Taehyung, Jimi, Jin, RM, Jhope, Suga, Jungkook, and V are members known for their high dedication to their work. Today, even Jimin is appreciated by the other BTS members as the same.
