The 50th American Music Awards Nominations have been announced.
The AMAs which was started in the year 1972 is going to celebrate and host its 50th AMAs.
On September 15, Dick Clark Productions and ABC announced the AMAs would be held on November 21, in Los Angeles.
The nominations were announced on October 13, 2022, by Becky G on Good Morning America.
She announced the nominees for New Artist of the year.
The rest of the nominations were announced by AMAs on their Twitter account.
The AMAs represent the year’s top achievements in the music industry determined by the fans.
A vibrant night of non-stop music, the AMAs features a powerful lineup featuring first-time collaborations and exclusive world-class performances by artists from Pop to Rap, R&B to country, Latin to K-pop, and many more, as well as memorable moments for pop culture to live on.
As the world’s largest fan-voted award shows, the AMAs will air globally across every digital platform and network in more than 120 countries and territories.
As the AMAs have announced their Nominations for this year fan voting is now open and is life for the vans to vote their favorite except for Favourite K-Pop artist which will be live on November 1, 2022 (Tuesday).
This time the nominations are fully confusing for the fans to vote for their favorite among the artists.
Artists like Adele (5 nominations), Taylor Swift (6 nominations), Drake (6 nominations), Beyoncé (6 nominations), Bad Bunny (8 nominations), Harry Styles (5 nominations), The Weeknd (5 nominations) are the highest no of nominations in the AMAs.
The American Music Awards added six categories, including the addition of Favorite K-pop Artist! Five different K-pop artists are nominated for the AMAs. The nominees are BLACKPINK, BTS, SEVENTEEN, TXT, and TWICE.
BTS has bagged nominations for Favorite Pop Duo or Group for the fourth year in a row. They are being nominated alongside Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Måneskin, and OneRepublic.

The 2022 American Music Awards will air from Microsoft Theater at L.A. Live in Los Angeles on November 21 at 10 a.m. KST.
