A suspected Chinese Spy named Cai Ruo at Majnu Ka Tilla was nabbed at the Tibetan Refugee camp, where she was disguised as Tibetan Monk.
New Delhi News: Chinese woman suspected to be a Chinese spy was arrested in North Delhi. The identification papers showed her under the fake name Dolma Lama, with a corresponding address in Kathmandu, Nepal. Further investigation by the Police confirmed her name as Cai Ruo.

Thursday, Afternoon, A Chinese woman was arrested for her alleged participation in Anti-National activities. The Chinese Woman is suspected of being a spy was nabbed in North Delhi’s Tibetan Refugee Camp near Delhi University’s North Campus.
During the Police investigation, it was revealed that she was living at Majnu Ka Tilla as a Tibetan Refugee Camp.
Her identity papers and passports show her name as Dolma Lama with an address of Kathmandu, Nepal, while with Further investigation on the suspect it was revealed that her real name is Cai Ruo, and she is from Hainan Province in China.
During an interview with Police Official said, “She has been living under the disguise of a Buddhist monk, wearing the same attire with short haircuts. And her past record identity and various aspects were examined including records with Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), which revealed that Cai Ruo came to India in 2019 with a Chinese passport.”
A case was filled against the suspect on behalf of investigation by Special Cell on October 17 under IPC section 120B (criminal conspiracy), 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property), 467 (forgery of valuable will/security), 419 (fake identity), 474 (using fraud documents and using them as genuine).
During the further investigation by Special Cell, she claimed that despite English she knows Mandarin and Nepali too. Later, she also added that Chinese Community Party wanted to kill her.
Chinese Spy? Chinese Arrested in India: Coincidence or Conspiracy?
This wasn’t the only first case of Chinese people arrested in India as, two Chinese Nationals were held in Noida, on 17 October for deceiving people through an application. During an investigation, it was also found that they have earned ₹107 Cr in their accounts by doing fraud for over a span of 1 year.
In June also a Chinese was detained by Police in a Gurgaon Hotel for having an expired visa as he was found living with his friend from Nagaland. Police also arrested two other Chinese nationals were arrested while trying to enter country via Nepal- Bihar Border.
In Noida, Many Chinese Nationals were also arrested in July, as they had expired Visas. From sources it’s been revealed that, around 27 Chinese nationals were detained in July for having their visa expired.
