Jin of BTS is all set to fulfil his military enlistment. He surprised the ARMY with his new buzz haircut which is looking absolutely adorable on this K-pop idol.
Bighit music already announced in the mid- October that all the members of famous K-pop boy band, BTS, will be fulfilling their military enlistment starting with Jin who will be completing his enlistment on December 13, 2022.
Mandatory Korean Military Services
There are many countries in the world which have the pact of mandatory or involuntary military services in which it is compulsory for all able-bodied men to enlist in the military and serve their nation. There is a certain period of time for which they’re required to fulfil the military services after attaining the age of eligibility.
According to South Korean mandatory Military Services, the maximum age for the enlistment in the military is 28, and they have to serve for 18-21 months in the military after the 5-week basic training period. However, the time period can be reduced in special cases.
Bighit Announcement
BTS Jin or Kim Seok Jin turned 30 on 4th December this year and he is ready to enlist in the military on 13th December, though Bighit didn’t confirm the date but it released a statement asking for the understanding and cooperation from ARMY.
The announcement states- “Jin will fulfil his required time with the military by enlisting in the army. Please note that we will not be holding any kind of official event on the day of his recruitment. The entrance ceremony is a time to be observed by military personnel and their families only. In order to prevent any issues that might occur from crowding, we ask fans to please refrain from visiting the site.
Instead, we ask you to keep your heartwarming words of support and farewell in your hearts. We ask for your continued love and support for Jin until he finishes his military service and comes back. Our company will also strive to provide every support he needs during this time.”
ARMY’S Reaction to Jin’s Buzzcut
Though ARMY had known about their enlistment for a long time, they were not prepared to bid goodbye to their favourite artists this soon. When Jin posted his new look in Buzz Cut on Weverse ARMY couldn’t stop themselves from Uwuing him.
They showered him with all the sweet comments like- ‘Even cuter than I thought’, ‘How can he still look so beautiful’ and ‘Still the Cutest’. Not just this they wished him luck for his journey in the military and prayed for his safety.
Even BTS Jimin couldn’t help himself from admiring his Jin Hyung, he conveyed his love for Jin by putting Jin’s new cut photo as his Weverse profile picture.
Rest of the members will most probably start with their enlisting procedure next year. Till then all the members are focusing on their individual projects. The group will reunite in 2025 until which ARMY will be eagerly waiting for their safe return.
