A well-known British socialite and the rumored girlfriend of late American financier Jeffrey Epstein is convicted as guilty in sex trafficking and on other counts. This verdict was delivered now after almost two years of the death of Jeffrey Epstein. Once the victims are coming out, the accusers express their relief with this victory.
As per the accusers, Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell are the partners in crime. Jeffrey Epstein was an American financier and a disgraced personality. He made many of the young, minor teenagers’ life miserable, accompanied by his girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell. Jeffrey’s scandal was known to the world by a complaint of the father of the 14-year girl in 2005. He was convicted in 2008 by the Florida state court. He spent 13 months in custody, and later, Federal officials identified 36 girls who Jeffrey sexually abused.
In 2019 Epstein was arrested again on the charges of sex trafficking. Epstein died in jail on August 10th, 2019. Jeffrey Epstein has a long-time relationship with British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell. Ghislaine Maxwell is now 60 years old, and she was accused of the sex trafficking of minors and on five other counts. As per the reports, she recruited the minor girls, groomed them to engage with Jeffrey to do sex acts, and used to bring them into sex trafficking. In 2020 she was arrested under federal charges. On December 29th 2021, she was convicted on five sex trafficking counts in which one count is on a minor girl.
The jury included 12 members; its verdict stated that she had proven guilty and mentioned that she had done everything sophisticatedly. She has been sentenced to 65 years behind bars. As per the verdict, she has to spend the rest of her life in jail. But as per her lawyers, she became the scapegoat for Epstein’s crimes and is an innocent. Her lawyer also stated that they were going to appeal this.
The trials in the courtroom were telecasted and started a month ago and collected four testimonies from the four women who accused that Maxwell involved them in the sex scandal with Jeffrey. By that time, they were teenagers, and she made them go to him to Jeffreys properties and where they were abused.
After the verdict by the jury, the victims and the law firms mentioned their gratitude to the jury by saying that justice has been served and they have faith in the justice.
Some of the statements and opinions are given by victims, and law firms are below here
Annie farmer
one of the victims has shared her testimony in the trial court, and after the verdict, she said that she was so relieved and grateful. By pointing to Maxwell, the farmer said that she is very dangerous and hurt many women, and she got the opportunity to reveal it in the courtroom. This verdict gave solace to many, and she is also privileged to know that no one is above the law. It is a good sign that people with power and money are also accountable for justice when they are abusing a child sexually.
