Producer Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment are launching a Horror web Series on Amazon Prime Video India.

Excel Entertainment is an Indian-based production house company founded by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani in 1999, established in Mumbai, it mainly produces Hindi films and web series.
About Excel Entertainment’s new horror series
The production house is currently working on a new web series in the horror genre for amazon prime video tentatively titled “Unseen” and the shooting for the web series has already begun, the web story is about a supernatural thriller and three actresses and one actor are announced officially.
Actress Surveen Chawla, Priya Bapat, and Prajakta Koli followed by actor Pranay Manchanda have been cast in the series.
According to a report from Peeping Moon, the series is set to be a multi-seasonal series, a source mentioned “it will have a spectral storyline which will be filled with jump-scary moments and thrills that will leave the audience on the edge of their seats”.
The project is already on floors and is all set to be directed by Raghav Dhar, the series is all set to premiere in the second half of 2024.
The web series will be the most anticipated by fans due to the past successful record from Excel Entertainment for producing quality-oriented and strong content-based web series.
Excel Entertainment’s previously loved web series
Excel Entertainment was set in motion in the year 2017 with their first web series titled Inside Edge a sports drama that was created by Karan Anshuman and starring Vivek Oberoi, Richa Chadha, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Angad Bedi, Tanuj Virani, and Sayani Gupta. However, the series was critically acclaimed for its strong storyline and edge-of-the-seat performances by the stars, Inside Edge, was also nominated for the 46th International Emmy awards in the category for Best Drama Series.
The second successful blockbuster series by Excel Entertainment was Mirzapur (2018) which was also created by Karan Anshuman starring Ali Faizal, Pankaj Tripathi, Divyendu Sharma, Vikrant Massey, and Shweta Tripathi. However, this series got a mixed reaction from the critics but was loved by the audience, at the iReel awards Pankaj Tripathi won the award for Best Actor Drama.
The third series Made in Heaven (2019) was released in March and was created by Reema Kagti and Farhan Akthar’s sister Zoya Akhtar, starring Arjun Mathur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Kalki Koechlin, and Jim Sarbh. However, the series was highly appreciated by critics and well-received by the audience. In the ITA Awards, the series received the award for Best Series Jury and Best Direction.
Other projects on OTT include Fukrey Boyss (2019) which was launched on Discovery Kids, In 2019 the most anticipated season of Inside Edge 2 was released followed by the release of the other most anticipated series Mirzapur season 2 in 2020 and the last release was Inside Edge season 3 (2021).
