On 3rd February 2017, director Karan Johar became a proud father of two children Yash Johar and Roohi Johar through surrogacy, the twins were born in Mumbai. Karan Johar named his son after his father’s name Yash, and his daughter after rearranging his mother’s name Hiroo to Roohi.
At age 50, Karan Johar is proud to have two twins Yash and Roohi Johar. He often talks about how proud he is to become a father to these adorable children and showers his love for them immensely.

Yash and Roohi’s 6th Birthday Bash
On Friday, 3rd February 2024, Karan Johar hosted the 6th birthday bash of his twins which was attended by popular faces of B’Town, including Gauri Khan, Abram Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan with son Taimur Ali Khan, and Jeh Ali Khan. Other known faces of B’Town on the guest list were Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Farah Khan, and Shilpa Shetty with daughter Shamisha and son Vihan.
On his official social media, Karan unveiled a video from the birthday bash of his children. He posted a video of Farah Khan dressed as Minnie Mouse the duo Farah Khan and Karan Johar shared jovial moments on the birthday and the netizens are enjoying the video.

In the video shared by Johar, it is seen that Farah is dressed in a pink top with polka dots on it wearing an adorable Minnie Mouse ear band on her head. In the video, a glimpse of the party is seen with a visible background of Disney-themed décor and the food served at the party. Farah is seen holding a lollipop and Karan Johar mocks her by saying: “At a bash, a Disney bash and guess whom we found? Minne Mouse, wow but is there anything mini about you?
Replying to Karan, director Farah further states: “There’s nothing mini about me but I, know there is something mini about you the video is concluded by the duo with the most favorite word of Karan Johar, ‘Toodles’. After the video was posted Farah Khan commented “A mini Me moment with my favorite reeler.”
Karan Johar took to his Instagram story to thank the event planners for planning such a marvelous Disney-themed birthday party he posted a story stating: “Planning a kid’s party is the most challenging and I, wouldn’t have been able to do it without the best party planner in the business! I had to do nothing but show up! Thank you,” tagging the planners Megha Kulchandani and @thepopcorncompany.

Currently, the duo Karan Johar and Farah Khan are simultaneously hosting the most controversial reality show Bigg Boss 16 in its finale weeks.
Karan is all set for his next film as a director titled ‘Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ produced by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Production and Viacom 18 Studios. The film is a multi starer starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles including Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. The film is all set for theatrical release on 28th July 2024.
His other films as a producer are Bedhadak (TBA) and Singham Again (TBA).
