Bella Hadid, co-founder of Kin Euphorics and supermodel, has been named a Charlotte Tilbury brand ambassador. The cult-favorite label revealed today that Hadid will join actors Lily James, Michaela Jaé, and Phoebe Dynevor, as well as supermodels Kate Moss, Jourdan Dunn, and Twiggy, as its newest beauty inspiration, or as Tilbury’s words go Charlotte Tilbury’s newest “muse”.
A Collaboration of Mutual Admiration
Bella tells the press that she has always felt a connection to Charlotte. Over the years, she has known her, her makeup and most importantly the energy she exudes. Her words throw light on how close the collaboration is to her heart – “ I think that it was divine timing and our connection is so strong. The universe wanted us to be together here and look where we are now.”
Tilbury has been teasing the revelation from Instagram, with admirers instantly assuming the silhouette belongs to Hadid. The announcement comes as Paris Fashion Week (PFW) begins, where Hadid, who is 26, is expected to walk the runway. Last season, she went viral on the Coperni catwalk after having a white clothing sprayed onto her almost naked body.
Tilbury Surges Forward
As the brand enters its 10th anniversary, Charlotte Tilbury has the strong conviction that this partnership with Bella will harness “the power of Charlotte Tilbury’s beauty-tech platforms and Bella’s leadership in digital spaces”. Tilbury and Hadid initially met while dancing at a Prince’s Trust event in New York City. Impressed not only by Tilbury’s dancing movements, but also by her entire work ethic, Hadid says the collaborative culture of the popular cosmetics company pulled her in.
Hadid also credits the new collaboration to her friendship with Tilbury’s niece, Sofia, who recently styled the star’s makeup for Beyoncé’s birthday celebration. She says that it was almost love at first sight. Hadid recalls how Sofia has the ability to make people light up when they are in an insecure position – she says she is grateful for the care and her belief in the art of makeup and the kind of energetic power it imparts to its wearer.
