Amitabh Bachchan had obtained serious injuries on the sets of his forthcoming film Project K in Hyderabad.
He wrote in his blog that on the sets of Project K, he got injured in an action shot. His rib cartilage popped and broke, and he suffered a muscle tear in the right rib cage. The shoot has to be canceled. He then immediately consulted the doctors and got done with the CT scan. He was taken to the AIG hospital in Hyderabad. He flew back to his residence in Mumbai after getting discharged from the hospital. He was strapped and experienced pain during movements and breathing. In his most recent blog, he also provided an update on his health.Â
He has been updating his fans regularly about his improving health condition from the day he got injured. Amitabh Bachchan wrote in his blog on Monday that he’s not feeling himself due to the absence of his daily routine of going out and working.
He wrote that work is the essence of routine, and routine provides enthusiasm for living a life. He all asked his fans to say prayers for him so that he could get back to his routine and go to work. He also stated that he should get rid of all disturbances so that he can make his day more efficient. Senior Bachchan further added that an artist can perform best when there is peace around him.
The actor hinted that he is trying to get out of dullness and emerge with victory.
In a post on Instagram, the veteran actor said he was recovering, along with a note and a picture of himself walking on a ramp at a fashion show in a black and white designer outfit. He also thanked his fans for all the prayers and wishes for his recovery and promised to get back to work soon.
Earlier, he shared that he’s feeling extremely painful and is not able to write as well as he used to prior to the rib injuries. He further stated that now he has a blister under his callus, and he’s not aware of it or has never heard about it. Bachchan’s ribs are in extreme pain, and the pain travels all the way to his toe, which draws all the attention. The actor also mentioned how he had to call the doctors after the blisters developed under the callus. He stated that the blister developed under the callus overnight, and he had to call the medics to attend him. He felt strange, and many questions aroused in his mind as he had never heard of or experienced it before. But as there was extreme pain, the attention of the doctors was very necessary. The doctors went for live puncturing of the blisters with the use of a syringe. The doctors wrapped the wound with certain protection till tomorrow.

Amitabh Bachchan’s co-star in multiple films, Ajay Devgn, recently discussed how the actor’s commitment to his profession frequently came at the expense of his health at an event. On the set of their 1998 action picture Major Saab, the senior actor also suffered an injury while filming a jumping stunt from roughly 30 feet, according to Ajay Devgn. Ajay Devgn remembered how Amitabh Bachchan during the shoot of an action sequence insisted to jump from 30 feet i.e. a height of 3 floors without using the stunt doubles. They both suffered several injury while shooting that sequence.
