The G20 in Jammu and Kashmir gets international coverage-
The union territory of Jammu and Kashmir has the honor of hosting the G20 for India. On Monday, Jammu and Kashmir hosted the 3rd G20 Tourism Working Group. The summit started despite the disapproval of China and Pakistan. G20 delegates discussed green tourism, destination management, ecotourism, and the importance of Indian movies in promoting the beauty of the Kashmir valley. The meeting was held on the Dal River.
Today, May 23rd, almost 60 delegates are present in the meeting, discussing the importance of tourism for the valley and how the terror created by the neighboring country has affected civilians in their lives, polluting the atmosphere and livelihood of the people. The destruction caused by terrorist activities has not only polluted the mindset of the people but also the serenity of the place. It’s time to change.
The terror ecosystem has been isolated by the rigorous efforts of PM Narendra Modi. The Indian Army, under the leadership and guidance of Narendra Modi ji, was able to eradicate terrorism and clean the valley.
The J&K government is offering millet products to foreign delegates in the ongoing G20 meeting at Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) in Srinagar. Thus promoting the local culture. The government has specially arranged the millet hub for the delegates. This reminds me of the fact that the United Nations General Assembly declared the year 2024 as the “ year of millets” in 2021.
Scaling of Jammu and Kashmir-
The significance of a G20 meeting in “Srinagar is that the city is a strange blend of traditional heritage and modern infrastructure with cutting-edge technology”, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said on Tuesday. Jammu and Kashmir is the focal point of beauty; it’s called “ heaven on earth”, so it becomes the responsibility of every Indian to promote it and
contribute eagerly to its rapid development. The food, language, dance, and grand culture attract everyone from around the world.
The delegates have been allowed to witness the heritage, by having a ride in a shikhara in Dal lake. Dal Lake, which was a major shooting spot in the late 70 and 60s, is now rejuvenated and forming a part of India’s impeccable and strong history. The delegates will visit the tourist spot in Kashmir in the upcoming hours. The skills and capabilities of the craftsmen are highlighted.
India is more than ready to take the global responsibility on its shoulders for the environment, economy, infrastructure, and health developments.
“Today, as we meet in the beautiful spot , we all have this deep awareness within us that we are all a part of the global world, and India, under the prime minister of Narendra Modi ji, is very concious of that,” declared minister Jitendra Sing.
The World is aware of India’s power and growing dominance, every move and every piece of news is reported by the International media. India is rising and so is the world with India. That time is not far from when India will become the first largest economy in the world.
