Variety has announced the sci-fi horror drama series ‘Stranger Things’ for its fourth season. The news comes with the premiere date announcement of the much-delayed fourth season of the series.
The official statement on Thursday night is coming over after two years since the third season’s release.
Creators of the Show Matt and Ross Duffer released a letter that said ‘Stranger Things 4’ would be split into two parts, the first to premiere on May 27 and the second to release on July 1.
The Show features Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, and others.
The brothers also shared that Stranger Things Season 4 would be the penultimate one, and the Show will wrap up after Season 5.
While the Show’s main story arc will be wrapped up with the next two seasons, the brothers said that there were still more stories left to tell in the small town of Hawkins with
 “new mysteries, new adventures, and new, unexpected heroes.”
As per Netflix’s official synopsis on Stranger Things 4, it has been six months since the incidents were unveiled in season three.
The hero’s of the Show are trying to live an everyday life while trying to adjust to the aftermath.
The first season of the American science fiction horror drama television series Stranger Things premiered worldwide exclusively via Netflix‘s streaming service on July 15, 2016.
Stranger Things is one of the most popular Netflix Originals, which is also one of the most viewed Show on the streaming platform.
