The friends and relation with two nations kept intact, the nation of thirteen crore people stilled at the General Assembly session held for Ukraine issue
While the whole world is sanctioning their contract over Russia keeping deep tactile contrast against the invasion over Ukraine, India maintained its stand in the UNSC General Assembly while voting for the procedural vote to call for the session on Ukraine.
India’s call to tale abstain from the vote on the draft resolution has cleared the stake and vision that the nation wants to follow. Now, if it is considered not, the draft of votes is being neutral for the government of Ukraine.
The draft resolution on the Ukraine issue texted that
“deploring in the strongest terms.” While other countries like the United States of America, Albania, France, Ghana, etc. are in favour of condemning the war that was created by Russia, the only country in the UNSC who used the VETO power and took its stand saying that “the nation did not have any other option except war in its hand.”
India, China, and UAE are the only nations that abstain from the UNSC procedural of votes. On the other hand, if explicitly talking about a country like India, then it is a type of dilemmas situation for the nation and its governance.
Because Russia being from the time of USSR, is a perfect ally of India while the relation with the States is just doing well a few years back. It would be a loss situation for India if the nation favoured or against the UNSC procedural of assembly.
A joint statement issued after the vote in UNSC that Linda Thomas-Greenfield describes said that the voice is “vital and straightforward” for the government and people residing in Ukraine. UNSC also expressed this notion, “to hold Russia accountable for its aggression against Ukraine.”
The statement continues in a manner that, “fundamentally, it was about whether the countries on the Security Council charged with maintaining international peace and security believe in upholding the UN Charter,” adding to this the UN leader in the vote section said that, “Russia alone is accountable”, President Putin is the aggressor here. The critical point is there are no middlemen.”
The scenario of India in the current state is very critical over some aspects that Indian officials think Russia may control.
They were speaking about the violations that were erupted on behalf of Russia that they are in enforcement for a nuclear impact over the nation of Ukraine. However, this would have consequences over India and other nations that are interdependent on both Russia and the United States of America.
The situation between the two countries is still very critical as they are not talking and do not have a sign for tying friendly relations.
