At the global box office, The Batman has soared above three-quarters of a billion dollars.
The Batman reached a mark of $134 million collections in its US Box Office debut. With such a high figure, it became the second-best opening after “Spiderman-No Way Home”, since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Robert Pattinson starrer became the director- of Matt Reeves’s biggest collection to date. The film has made about $248.5 million globally. The Batman recorded a very successful opening in India as well. Released on 4 March 2022, in four days the movie succeeded in collecting 21.5 crores.
According to reports, this version of Batman shows a much darker side and serves, the much anticipated, strong portrayal of the character to date. This strong characterization brings out a fresh take for Warner Bros, and it gives a different test to the audience.
Batman’s opening shows the supremacy of the superhero genre at a time when other genres are struggling on the big screen.
The movie was served to the audience at an absolutely right time since January and February did not see any significant international film making headlines. Hence, it is safe to say that the movie has been received quite well across the globe.
