iHeartRadio Music Awards 2022 were hosted at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
The iHeartRadio Music Awards were held on March 22. The star-studded night saw some of the best performances by the biggest names in the music industry.
This year, the iHeartRadio Music Awards were hosted by LL Cool J. He opened the evening with a bang! He performed some of his biggest hits, ‘Don’t call it a Comeback’, ‘Rampage’, ‘Mama Said Knock You Out’ and and ‘The Boomin System’. Megan Thee Stallion lit up the stage with her performance of the songs “Megan’s Piano”, “Sweetest Pie.”
The award was attended by some of the biggest stars, including Jennifer Lopez, Megan Thee Stallion among others. The top winners of the evening were Olivia Rodrigo and Dua Lipa, who won the Best New Pop Artist award and Song of the Year award, respectively.Doja Cat, Ed Sheeran, Lil Nas X, Drake, BTS, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Cardi B, H.E.R and many more are among the nominees.
This year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards was extra special as fans also got a chance to vote for their favourite artists in the fan favourite categories. The categories were Best Lyrics, Best Cover Song, Best Music Video, the Social Star Award, Favorite Tour Photographer, Best Fan Army, TikTok Bop of the Year, and for the first time, TikTok Songwriter of the Year and Best Comeback Album.
